To forget you

How long does it take to forget you?

I want to know how long it’ll take to forget the hue of your blue lipstick,

Your soft touch caressing me as I drift away into sleep

How long does it take to forget the value of a good memory

It’s like tearing my world apart

My Green Revolution

And you know how humans are

Trained to forget and then remember and then forget,

But more importantly to remember
