Executive Order

When standing on the edge of it all, there are occasions when one can’t help but feel superhumanly powerful. Invincible and mighty in spite of (or perhaps due to) an unavoidable enemy. Can you call this courage? Is denial just fear dressed up? I wish I could answer. Clinging onto what is familiar in the face of the great unknown could certainly be called an act of cowardice, but it’s only natural to hold on tight after a shock. Questions like these make me wonder if a difference is  still no difference after all.
